Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely face with the lightest blonde hair, and an immaculately clean body; her limbs are pink and beautiful as the day she was 'born.' She has a sweet baby smell. If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has pretty very light blonde hair. Her hair has no missing plugs and is clean and shiny and lovely.
This happy baby is in excellent condition — fat and sassy, having new fresh kapok stuffing to give her a clean, pleasant and huggable body; I replaced her old broken squeaker, added a sweet sounding one so she can 'talk' to you again... just a soft and sweet little cry, There should be no surprises as received... she is a PRIZE for a collector who will appreciate this special little girl.
She wears a reproduction 'Baby Dear' wrist tag. Includes a newly made white flannel diaper and undershirt.
Baby Dear is dressed in her original VERY HARD TO FIND blue cotton knit, 2-piece pajamas. They are by far the nicest pair I have seen -- they are in MINT condition. The elastic at the waist is springy and there is no fading or wear to the fabric. They are still the original vibrant Baby Blue she was brought home from the 'baby store' so many decades ago now.
Both baby doll and her outfit are PERFECTION~
I had no intentions of parting with any of my rather large collection of these sweet dollies, but find a Baker’s Dozen might be a little much. If you collect them, you know they are much like potato chips, and cannot be resisted or denied. Dress them often, as they look charming and enjoy being fussed over.
