Gorgeous and Near Mint! Darling little 13.5" American Character 1950s Tiny Tears Baby Doll -- golden blond saran curls, high color face, mint hands down rubber body, beautiful dress and bonnet set, and coat and bonnet set.
 
What a beautiful baby! All dressed up and ready for Easter with her little pink bunny rabbit friend.
 
This charming little girl was produced by American Character from 1956 to 1958; her early high color rich paint and hands down rubber body help date her, along with the saran hair being produced commencing in 1956; in late 1958 the body changed to a vinyl one, and the painted face became more 'fair skinned' with a completely different coloring procress.
 
Baby has a flawless face, perfect blondie saran curls, and a mint rubber body with no weaknesses, no crazing,  no cracks or separations, and clean. She would be considered totally mint but for some missing lashes on her left eye in the middle (see photo of her laying down).
 
She comes dresssed in a vintage 1950s teal blue 'stars' nylon organdy dress and bonnet set. The dress closes at the back with two little snaps, and there is an attached slip under the skirt; matching bonnet. I have added a vintage kimono-style robe with darling Spring critters; and a newly-made deep pink cotton twill coat and bonnet set that closes at the bodice with velcro (not my choice of closure, but how it came to me (could be removed I'd think if wanted, and button or snap added instead). A pair of socks will be included along with her sweet little articulated pinlk bunny. Underwear set and 'Easter Robe' are new, old-store-stock; dress set and coat set are PRISTINE.
