Baby Sandy has an all composition five part body -- she has absolutely NO CRAZING ANYWHERE, with only light paint wear on the tips of two fingers of the right hand. All original paint with NO RESTORATION. Her original stringing is still flexible and firm to pose her limbs and head in 'an infinite' number of ways to help express her sweet personality. What a happy baby!!
This lovely doll is in near MINT condition and she is ALL ORIGINAL right down to her white oxford style baby shoes and socks. From what I can see, she has never been undressed. Her all original clothing is in mint condition but for a small stain at the back at the fold of the hem, and overall light patina to the fabric. She is still in the original condition, right off the toy store shelf, as she was 80 years ago now. Her eyes have crazed and pupils have been added to make her display ready and help her focus on a new life in her new home. Otherwise, this little baby is what I call PERFECTION... bright and vivid facial features with rosy cheeks, an open mouth with molded tongue and upper 'toddler' teeth, full brush lashes on her sleepy eyes, and gorgeous painted brows. Her molded hair is without blemish in a beautiful golden brown color.
Perhaps you have not heard of Baby Sandy until today, but do note how truly fetching her smile and impish countenance is and bring her home to play.
INCLUDES her "Baby Sandy" original pinback.
