SUPERB RARE Vintage 1930's Effanbee Black PATSY JR -- All Original
 
Include RARE Effanbee golden heart charm that states "PatsyKin" -- calling out her alternate name. When this size doll was produced she was issued with the Patsy Jr name; it was thought better to change the name to PatsyKin shortly afterwards as the 'Jr' was too boyish sounding.
 
It simply does not get any better than this ... and if you view my past listings you will see that this is the second 'twin' of one I sold sometime ago-- same style dress set and additional coat/beret as the last one I had. This charming little girl will satisfy any collector of Effanbee composition dolls, and be a double-good find for any collector of black Americana dolls.
 
Patsy Jr is approximately 11" high and in ALL ORIGINAL nearly MINT condition. There is NO CRAZING. Paint rubs at a couple of fingertips, and a single tiny pindot rub on her upper thigh is all to separate this lovely from a mint doll.
 
She comes dressed in her original under garment under her red cotton print dress. Tiny  whitesilk ribbons adorn her three little braids made of black cotton floss. She wears a darling dimity apron over the dress. Her outfit is finished with rayon socks and white oilcoth shoes. Although there is some light age patina on her garments, they are in wonderful condition with no mends or weakness to the fabric.

All of her painted facial features are complete and intact. Notice her painted eyes have the SIGNATURE but RARE, HEART SHAPED PUPILS.
 
Her five-part all composition body facilitates you to pose her in an 'infinite' variety of positions, whether it be an impish character you wish to display, or as a quiet little school girl... a little angel.
 
These black dolls are SO RARE to find in such minty condition and ALL ORIGINAL.
