RARE All Original Suitcase Set with 1930s composition Madame Alexander 11" Wendy Ann doll and four complete outfits.

NOTE ~ this listing has been updated -- Wendy Ann now has beautiful restored eyes -- some of the photos show her modeling her lovely outfits before her 'eye surgery'.

Beautiful blond human hair wig, NO crazing and all painted features complete, vibrant and intact. Her composition is beautiful -- smooth and even toned with all fingers intact. Her stringing is firm and allows posing Wendy Ann to bring out her beauty. Vivid blush on her cheeks and knees give her a healthy glow.

All four ORIGINAL outfits are in minty condition. The blue 'windowpane' dress set was on her when I purchased this set; you will perhaps want to give the bloomers a gentle wash. Otherwise all the clothing is clean and shows little to no use.

There are TWO pairs of side-snap oilcloth shoes -- cream and black -- to pair with her outfits, along with two pairs of socks (one set never worn). I am unsure which outfit the pretty straw hat would have been matched with, but it looks nice with all the dress outfits. The long gown is lovely -- there is what I believe to be a cream colored shawl / capelet that goes with it, along with a bouquet of flowers (or a hat?).

This set is amazing and after much research I have seen nothing like this ever. Everything in this set is original and complete as far as I can tell.

TWO of the dresses are tagged -- blue windowpane and the pink organdy dress; the tags are crisp and perfect; tags read: "Wendy Ann" /by Madame Alexander N.Y. / All rights reserved. The long gown and the pajama set I have never seen anywhere. My photos are a good indication of the amazing condition of this entire rare set.

Wendy Ann's irises are a gorgeous blue-green that have replaced her original faded out ones... couldn't be more perfect; her eyes open and close as they should and she has a full complement of natural brush lashes. Her blond human hair wig is thick and full and only needs styling.

The original suitcase is in near perfect condition with only light soiling. Inside the blue cardboard inserts are both there -- one to hold Wendy Ann and the other lid insert held her outfits. Case closes firmly and makes a great display.
