This one is in mint condition, with no 'bleed' to the red cotton floss embroidery. Early version where the belt is attached to the seams at the back. Elastic still intact and springy. Red striping still has the crisp seersucker texturing and vibrant coloring... no fading.
 
Made of cotton red-and-white striped seersucker. Bright white polished cotton collar with embroidery accents. Ruffled front placket with mother-of-pearl buttons Closes at the bottom with a single button. Unattached belt buttons to the front.
 
This is the original layette romper called out on the content card enclosed with the trunk layettes. Limited deluxe layettes included this suit in all Dy-Dee sizes. HARD TO FIND and a treasure to add to your baby's nursery layette.
