Vintage 1930s Composition KEWPIE Doll in BLUE Dress.
 
Darling 13" all composition Cameo Kewpie Doll by Rosie O'Neill. She comes redressed in a vintage blue print romper style dress with matching bonnet.
 
Kewpie has overall nice composition for this era doll. There are chips/pops to the compo here and there, and wear to the composition at the joints. Her composition coloring is beautiful and glowing, She has only a few very light craze lines overall. She has been restrung at some point in her past, and she poses well.
 
Her romper style dress and bonnet are vibrant and like new; I did make an 'invisible' mend to a small separation in the bonnet which would be hard to detect :-)

It would be very difficult to find one in such amazing condition.
 
She has her ORIGINAL black elastic band stringing; it is slightly loose, but I preferred to keep her intact as it is rare to find one this way. She still holds a pose.
