Darling All Original Effanbee 8" Patsy Babyette from the 1930s.
 
This is one of the earlier issue Babyette dolls with the all cloth body -- including feet -- and tiny celluloid hands from the wrist down.
 
She is in 'dead stock' mint condition where the only signs of her age is a light overall patina to her dress. Oft times I will launder a doll's garments to freshen them, but this little lady's overall condition dictated that I leave well enough alone as her outfit is crisp and lovely as it is now. The elastic at the wrist is still viable and the wide organdy sashes match for the apron and the sunbonnet.
 
This is a great little one to add "just one more..." to your composition, 1930s, and/or Effanbee doll collection.
