Beautiful vintage 1940s Plassie Baby doll by Ideal Toy Co. -- Sweet composition and cloth doll is in  excellent displayable condition... or could use a little TLC.
 
She is the LARGEST Plassie baby doll made -- PLEASE NOTE that her purchase price includes FREE SHIPPING and that is a considerable portion of the cost.
 
She has clear brown eyes that 'may' have had irises restored... not sure. They open and close perfectly; it appears she has all brush lashes, but some are shorter, but look like they just need to be pulled down from the inside of the socket.  Her facial features and molded brown curls are very much like Ideal's own Princess Beatrix of this same era. Her hands do not have the familiar and classic clenched fists that some of the Plassie and all Beatrix dolls exhibit. Her body is immaculately clean with a non-working cryer inside. The right composition arm has considerable crazing/lifting; the left arm only light intermittent crazing; the head has intermittent crazing; her legs are excellent with very little wear at all.
 
She comes wearing her original pink rayon snowsuit set. Someone has added flowers to her peaked hat. The suit is in excellent condition with no stains or separations.
