This FABULOUS and rare doll is in excellent condition with minor restoration to help ensure another almost 100 years of 'life' -- beautiful display!
 
LOVUMS original blue cotton romper is fresh, clean and unfaded with embroidered accents on the collar and its self-belt at the waist. I attached her hard-to-find Effanbee Red Heart pin for closure.
 
Her outfit is complete with replaced socks and blue oilcloth shoes.
 
Lovums is a TOUSLE TOT (tousle head -- caracul lambskin wig) with composition head and limbs that move freely and securely to raise and lower her arms.  There is no crazing to the legs and some light stray craze lines on her neck and arms are hard to see without close inspection. The cloth body has is clean and still very nice after all these decades past.
 
Her face is VIBRANT with beautiful BLUE EYES that sparkle with good cheer and, of course, LOVE as she gazes up at you, and raises her arms to be picked up and hugged. I believe that at some point Lovums has had some minor restoration around the cheek and mouth area, but if so, done nicely. She retains certainly her original multi-stroke brows and painted lashes. Her glassene eyes are clear and lovely; she has a full complement of thick, even brush lashes; her eyes open and close perfectly.
 
INCLUDED is her original metal heart Effanbee wrist bracelet, AND Effanbee pin AND celluloid rattle.
