Vintage Effanbee 15" Dy-Dee Early 1940's Dress Set -- Red Roses
 
RARE Effanbee Dy-Dee dress and matching bonnet set from late 1940's -- soft woven cotton fabric sprinkled with beautiful big red roses against green and blue leaves on a white background. Darling set especially appropriate for June... CHERRY SEASON!
 
The wide-brimmed bonnet can be worn folded back or turned forward to shade baby's delicate features. A band of embroidered white-on-white scalloped organdy lays across the bodice, next to 'butterfly' sleeves with cotton trim. The bonnet features cotton net lace that forms a ruffle effect framing baby's face. A lovely baby pink silk bow ties at the side adding a most charming effect to the overall appeal. Sweet set has seen light play wear lending a soft draping 'hand' to the fabric that matches the era it hails from, and blends perfectly with baby's own history.
