Vintage 1940s Effanbee Patsy Baby 12" Prototype -- very rare and I have only seen two others in 30+ years.
 
Adorable unmarked early Patsy prototype. All composition cutie pie redressed in a cotton print frock, white cotton bloomers, green wool hooded coat, rayon socks and oilcloth shoes.
 
Includes her little 'barnyard friend' to take home.
 
Patsy has strawberry blonde mohair curls... maybe a little mussed, but oh so cute... afterall she has been busy playing outside all afternoon. Her clothing is in excellent played with condition; the little 'apple green' hooded coat is handmade and is completely lined with silk taffeta; there are a few pinholes in the fabric. Her white oilcloth shoes are new old-store-stock.
 
She has a 5-part composition body and head; she is strung securely to pose for you. Minimal paint wear and no crazing. My photos don't pick up the perfect blush on her cheeks, but it just enough to give her 'life' and is original; blush accents to the top of her hands and knees remain. All painted facial features are intact; her clear brown glassene eyes open and close just right; the brush lashes are full, thick and even. Chubby cheeks and a little pouty-type mouth are so endearing -- pick her up and tell her she is loved~
