Vintage 1940s Original Dress Set for Effanbee 20" Dy-Dee Lou Baby Doll -- Antique White Cotton Organdy " 3-Button Flounce " Dress
One of many dress sets for your Dy-Dee that I have collected over the last 25 years. Original Dy-Dee layette set.
The set is made of lovely white cotton organdy with pink stitching accents. Gorgeous set has a full-skirt 'baby style' dress with puff sleeves; replaced newly made cotton slip lays underneath. The elastic in the puff sleeves has been refreshed and is now perfect!
This is the set that everyone wants in their collection... I have only seen a short handful in this size in display-ready condition.
This white organdy dress is in excellent condition, and is SO RARE to find in this condition in any size, and most especially for the 20" Dy-Dee baby doll. The bonnet still retains its original ribbon ties, in strong condition; the organdy on the brim has some light pulling to the weave... still a lovely, lovely set.
SET includes: Dress, slip, bonnet and a nice pair of vintage pink striped socks -- new, old-store-stock.
